Pokud na hranách prkna najdete výstupky a zvtvrdlé částečky je důležité je nabrousit. Použít můžeme například jednosečný pilník.  Po něm se hrany tolik netupí.

Voskování

Ještě před samotným voskováním je zapotřebí důkladně očistit skluznici. Žehličkou rozetřeme vosk po celé délce prkna a ještě před jeho samotným ztuhnutím, stáhne se zapomocí škrabky. Je tu také možnost vosk vetřít na prkno, ale tento způsob není až tak funkční.

Případná údržba

Někdy se také může stát, že se nám povolí šroubky, které nám drží vázání. Nejsme-li na prkné je dobré mít vázání zapnuté a zároveň sklopené. Tím se vyvarujeme zbytečnému rozbití.

Sharpening of edges

If you find protrusoins and hardened particles on the edges of the board it is important to sharpen them. For example, we can use a single-sided file. After that, the edges are not so blunt.

Waxing

Even before the waxing itself it is necessary to thoroughly clean the base. We spread the wax over the entire length of the board by an iron and before its hardening we will pull off the wax with  a scraper. There is also the possibility rub the wax on the board, but this method is not so functional.

Peculairly maintenance

Sometimes it may happen the screws are slacked to hold our bindings. If we are not stayin on the board it's good to have the binding turned on and reclined. This avoids unnecessary breakage.
